Service Teams

Music Team

Drama - The purpose of the drama team is to provide drama that enhances messages presented at various church events.

Prayer - The purpose of the prayer team is to pray  for the ministries of Christ Community Church.  This includes the prayer chain and Sunday morning prayer.

Worship - The purpose of the worship team is to provide music and other creative ministries to enhance the worship events of Christ Community Church attendees.  This includes singing, playing instruments and arranging music.

Fellowship Team

Caring - The purpose of the caring team is to provide ministry to those at Christ Community Church who have special life needs.  This includes meals for those hospitalized and support for funerals.

Refreshment - The purpose of the refreshment team is to provide refreshments at worship services and coordinate all church socials.  This includes snacks on Sundays and supplies needed for large group events.

Growth Team

Children’s - This purpose of the children’s team is to provide ministries to children that fulfill the five purposes of Christ Community Church.  This includes teaching, assisting teaching, quarterly socials, annual summer outreach and activity support.

Men’s - The purpose of the men’s team is to provide ministries to men that fulfill the five purposes of Christ Community Church.  This includes leading small groups, organizing men’s social events and encouraging one another.

Women’s - The purpose of the women’s team is to provide ministries to women that fulfill the five purposes of Christ Community Church.  This includes teaching, organizing events and encouraging one another.

Youth - The purpose of the youth team is to provide ministries to youth that fulfill the five purposes of Christ Community Church.  This includes leading small groups, promoting activities, phone calling and making preparations for events.

Service Team

Office - The purpose of the office team is to provide secretarial support to the Pastors.  This includes the bulletin, mailings, photocopying, phone calling and filing.

Research - The purpose of the research team is to collect quotes, illustrations, articles and statistics that could help with future messages.

Setup - The purpose of the setup team is to setup and take down the equipment necessary for church events.  This includes electronics, tables and chairs.

Usher - The purpose of the usher team is to address the physical needs of those attending an event at Christ Community Church.  This ministry includes showing people to the locations of activities and collecting the offering.

Sharing Team

Greeter - The purpose of the greeter team is to meet the needs of guests from the time of a first visit to their assimilation into a small group.  This includes a warm welcome, encouraging their return for a second event and increasing their commitment to the ministries of Christ Community Church.

Small Group - The purpose of the small group team is to provide ministries to assimilate attendees into a small group at Christ Community Church.  This includes coordinating, administering when groups meet and encouraging non-attendees to join a group.

Event Sharing – Various teams are formed through out the year to reach out at the Maple Festival, Geauga County Fair and Christmas.
