How to Know God's Purpose for You!

The Discovery Series Classes help you move toward toward your purpose, to be more like Jesus.  Commitment is what makes a believer grow!  "You are as close to God as you choose to be!"  Each attendee is asked to commitment to the covenant series of classes below.

Discovering Christ Community Church – Class 101

The first step of the Life Discovery Process at CCC is to encourage, support and pray for each other as members of God’s family. We want to share our lives together and make a commitment to one another.

The first step of discovering the abundant life God has for you is attending a four-hour session that informs you about the following:

·      Who we are trying to reach

·      The circles of commitment

·      The four covenants

·      Our purposes

·      Statement of faith

·      Lifestyle statement

·      What it means to be a Christian

·      The symbols of salvation

·      The church's structure

·      Our affiliations

·      What it means to be a member and

·      The "Life Discovery" process

Discovering Personal Growth – Class 201

The second step of the Life Discovery Process at CCC is to help attendees develop toward Christian maturity, training them for effective personal growth.

During this step we promote personal, spiritual growth and discipleship. You will learn skills that help you grow mature.

A four-hour session informs you about the four basic habits for personal growth:

·      Time with God's Word - How to get a "Grasp" on your Bible; hear God's word, read God's word, study God's word, have a quiet time

·      Prayer – Praise, Purpose, Provision, Pardon, Protection

·      Tithing - How giving reveals my spiritual maturity, What the Bible teaches about tithing

·      Fellowship - Why fellowship is important, How a large church can maintain close friendships, How to start and maintain good habits

Discovering Service – Class 301

The third step of the Life Discovery Process is to serve unselfishly, in Jesus’ name meeting the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of those in our Church, community and in the world.

During this step, we help you discover your spiritual gift, your personal style and preference for ministry.  Eight hours of instruction guide you through this process as you learn about the following:

·      Where to serve,

·      Why I serve,

·      How I can make a difference,

·      How to love using my gift,

·      What my style of ministry is,

·      Who I prefer to work with and

·      How to serve for a life time.

Discovering Sharing – Class 401

The fourth step of the Life Discovery Process is to share the good news of Jesus Christ with as many people as possible in our community and throughout the world. 

During this step, we help you discover how to be a contagious Christian.  Eight hours of instruction lead you through the following:

• Why to share

• How to be myself while sharing

• How to build relationships

• How to tell my conversion story

• How to tell about Jesus’ gift of life

• How to help someone make a commitment

• How to put it all together and

• How to answer difficult questions.
